spank!

Our one week excursion home for our wedding shower is slowing turning into a two week fiesta. I've been able to knock out a few sketches between all the eating that's been going on around here. No complaints from me. So here's a selection of noodles for your viewing pleasure.

I was also able to finally watch Corpse Bride. There's just something about stop-motion animation. It gives you this unique sense and feeling of being in the scene instead of just watching. You can see and feel every "real" texture. Cool story, sweet animation, and the design of it all rocked! But if you really think about it, that would be some effed-up shit if that all happened in real life. A dead chick rising from the ground, whaling "I doooooo!" Not cool.

nice sketches.. is that a whale that's saying "fish"?.. if it is, is it a montage to david choe.. i can't stop thinking about his work.. the whales.. lol.. my favorite was the gigantic whale on the 101 that's saying "ride the bus".. haha..

anyway.. it's funny you bring up the corpse bride.. we just rented it and i was freaking out when she jus said "i do", came up out of the ground and was floating after victor.. gave me the heeby jeebies..

Cool sketches! I have to admit, I liked "Corpse Bride" more than I imagined I would. I was mesmerized by the animation - especially the angles of the characters and the great muted colors.
