illustration friday: wired

Here's a little analog goodness for this week's illFriday topic "wired". I dig the shape of an old school cassette tape. Quite sexy.

In other news, the uber-sick Alberto Ruiz just launched Brand Studio Press, his very own publishing company. I've been very fortunate and humbled to be a part of his Spring 2007 Collection of hardcover artbooks. Here's a few snapshots of my book, Electric Fan:

It should be ready to order by the end of the month, so keep posted. In the mean time, check out the rest of the books from an amazing collection of talented artists here.

Beautiful beautiful work - I'm green with envy and, um, some other color with admiration! Your drawing/design skills are really honed tight, and I love your color decisions too. Keep it coming!

Even if I wasn't a fan of headphones, this is still gorgeous work! I love the monochrome and bold outlines. The way you incorporated the cassette tape is awesome, and the whole design for the background is beautiful.

Congrats on the artbook deal too! :D
