island dj

Aloha. Here's a commissioned piece done for Island DJ Melanie who I met at last years Comic-Con. She dug the sketch I had done for her at the con and wanted the same idea spiced up for a logo design. That's what I dig so much about conventions, you get to meet cool folks who inspire you to create.

Here's the original sketch from the con.

And here's what I had for dinner. What do these have in common? Absolutely nothing. Jenn prepared a delicious meal for me, stuffed salmon with cheesy rice. We had gone grocery shopping in hopes of changing our eating habits to a more healthy approach. Upon reaching the register we had noticed that our checkout items had matured from the days of TV dinners, soda, and anything that had the word chocolate (which was the last time we had gone grocery shopping). Looks like we're all grown-up. Now if you will excuse me, my cartoons are on.

Wow!

I stumbled across your Blog via blogexplosion. I am blogmarking you. Your art work is absolutely amazing.

I can't draw a stick figure to save my life. I actually have a Wacom tablet too...how sad is that.

:D

Art work is fun and interesting. My art is writing though I don't do it often. As for better eating, I do the same thing. My cart will be full of good things then junk like mini pizzas LOL.

Awesome work, here! Dig your sketches as well as the finished pieces.

Are those vinyl toys you mentioned over at my blog hollow, or solid? I've only seen pictures. Plus the ones I looked at were pretty dang expensive.
