solemn news, the comic book world lost a very creative and imaginative artist.
Seth Fisher, whose work included "Vertigo Pop: Tokyo," "The Flash: Time Flies," and the mind-blowing "Green Lantern: Willworld," has passed away. Such a shocking and sudden loss of an artist whose potential had only begun. His unique style and vision will never be equalled. My sincerest condolences goes out to his family and friends. Feels like ages since I've done something for Illustration Friday. Let's see if I can at least do one more before the end of the year.
Looks like it's been exactly six months since I last participated in an illfriday theme. Figured I'd get back into the swing of things by trying something a bit different. My weapon of choice has always been Illustrator, but I've also been quite fascinated and frustrated with what Flash has to offer. So I thought I'd give that program another shot. Though it feels like everything I've ever learned with Illustrator had to be thrown right out the window. As if I'm learning to draw all over again, but with my left butt cheek. After a few hours of fumbling around, I think I've stumbled onto something quite refreshing. Stay tuned for more experimental goodness and mishaps.

It's shaping up to be an awesome year in mainstream comics. Marvel is about to drop Civil War, while DC is wrapping up Infinite Crisis to be followed by 52. The fanboy in me just creamed his pants. Since I've missed the past month or so of illFriday topics reading comic books, thought I'd do something with capes and tights. And surprisingly, no breasts. It's a scene where Superboy-Prime just slaughtered a bunch of Titans and the Flashes rush in to the rescue.
